Cast and Poured Sugar

In this 4 hour class we will be working with Isomalt to create beautiful sugar sculptures.
You will also learn how to make your own molds and will take home a full sculptured piece.
 


Coral and Shells

Please join me for fun and easy ways to create coral and shells using a variety of techniques.
You will learn things such as painting,sponging, using royal icing, working with gum paste
and dusting to create a wonderful underwater scene.

Bows, Drapery and Ribbon Roses using Fondant
 
In this 4 hour class you will learn a variety of Bows, Embossing,
Drapes and Ribbon Roses with a professional look.
First, you will learn the proper construction for stacking
a
tiered cake.  Next, I will demo bows, drapes and roses.
We will then work on design of your cakes and you
will have 2 hours to complete the cake you
designed.
  You will take home a 3 tiered cake which you will have
adorned with all of these techniques and more!

Gumpaste Flowers Basics

In this class you will learn a variety of sugar flowers,
such as Roses, Calla Lilies, Snap Peas and many more.
 
 


Fondant Basics

Learn how to cover your cake with Fondant without cracks, crinkles or elephant skin.
We will cover the basic borders and differences between the various brands of Fondant.


Fondant Drapery on Buttercream Cakes

In this 2 hour class you will learn the proper structural support to hold fondant drapery on a tiered buttercream cake.


3-D Mosiac Design with Gumpaste Flowers

In this 2.5 hour class you will learn how to carve mosaic
designs into the fondant using patterns or free-handing.  

We will then paint the mosaic in brilliant colors and
using gumpaste petals we will create the 3-d design.


Painting on Buttercream and Fondant

In this 2 hour class you will learn simple brushstrokes
for creating trees, shrubbery, small flowers, etc.
and sponging techniques to create beautiful
backgrounds on your cakes.


Stand-away Lace

In this demo you see how to create designs and lace work that stands away from the cake by 2 inches using royal icing.



Petit Fours

I will show you an easy and profitable way to make Petit Four’s.
These are absolutely breathtaking and will be the hit of your next party!
They look complicated, but, with a few tools you will look like a pro!
I will demonstrate how the Petit Four is made and then each student
will be able to make and decorate a dozen or more to take home.

Come and join me for a 3 hour class of fun.
All you need is an apron and a smile,  ALL supplies are provided.
